What the New Jersey rules say about withdrawals
New Jersey's online casino rules are in chapter 13:69O of the New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C.). Each quote below is the text of the rule.

The terms must give an estimated withdrawal time
Among what the terms and conditions of a New Jersey online casino must address, the rule lists an estimated time for withdrawals. The times in the table above are the ones each operator publishes.
(l) All terms and conditions for Internet or mobile gaming shall be included as an appendix to the internal controls of the licensee addressing all aspects of the operation, including the following: [...] 13. Estimated time period for withdrawal of funds from Internet or mobile account;

Deposited by card? The card comes first
If you funded your account with a credit or debit card, then before any withdrawal the balance up to the amount of that deposit is refunded to that card, where the card issuer permits it.
(e) Prior to any withdrawal, if a patron used a credit or debit card to fund an Internet or mobile gaming account, any remaining balance in the account up to the amount of the deposit shall be refunded to the patron's credit or debit card account used to fund the Internet or mobile gaming account provided that a credit or debit card issuer permits the return of a withdrawal from an Internet or mobile gaming account funded by the credit or debit card of the issuer.

The ways money can leave your account
The rule lists how funds may be withdrawn: cash at the casino's cage, a prepaid card verified as yours, or a transfer to your own bank account once the casino has verified that account with your bank.
(f) Funds may be withdrawn from a patron's Internet or mobile gaming account for the following: [...] 2. Cash-out at the cashier's cage immediately upon patron request; [...] 4. A cash-out transfer to a patron's reloadable prepaid cash card, which has been verified as being issued to the patron and is non-transferable; [...] 6. Cash-out transfers directly to the patron's individual account with a bank or other financial institution (banking account) provided that the licensee verifies the validity of the account with the financial institution;

Before you cash out
- Read the withdrawal time in your casino's own terms or help pages: the rule asks for an estimated time, and the operator's figure is the one that applies to you.
- If you deposited by credit or debit card, expect the refund to that card to come before any other withdrawal, up to the amount of the deposit.
- For a transfer to your bank account, the casino has to verify that account with your bank.
