A 21+ age policy in the terms
The terms and conditions must carry a legal age policy: in New Jersey you must be 21 to play online casino games, and letting anyone younger play is a criminal offense.

A location check when you log in
An approved site has to detect where you are when you log in, and it refuses wagers while you are outside an authorized area. Expect a location prompt on your phone or computer.
“The Internet or mobile gaming system shall employ a mechanism to detect the physical location of a patron upon logging into the gaming system and as frequently as specified in the Internet gaming permit holder's approved submission. If the system detects that the physical location of the patron is in an area unauthorized for Internet or mobile gaming, the system shall not accept wagers until such time that the patron is in an authorized location”

A complaint route that ends at the DGE
A dispute goes to the casino first, through the procedure on its website. If it stays unresolved, the DGE takes it through its Internet Dispute Form.
